Kombinat organized the Welcome home. exhibition, which took place from 5/31 to 6/4 2016 in the Centre of Technical Culture Rijeka. The exhibition is part of activities organized by the RI Connect Youth Club that has been active for 13 years. In the school year 2015/2016, the RI Connect Youth Club continued to implement successful activities, but also introduced new ones, mutually created by the Centre of Technical Culture Rijeka, SOS Telephone – the City of Rijeka and Kombinat. One of the novelties of the RI Connect project was the exhibition of five young artistis – Valentina Brković, Dina Karadžić, Tea Stražičić, Marta Stražičić and Dorotea Škrabo.

Welcome home. was an exhibition about post-Internet intimacies where five female artists, with different digital tools, presented their multimedia meditations about production of intimacies, reflections and internalization in the world after the Internet. Six presented artworks allowed us to gain insight into the small but rich oeuvre of this new generation of authors to whose artistic sensibility the specificity of being a human being in the early 21^st century offers both an aesthetic material and conceptual challenge. The RI Connect Youth Club programmes are financially supported by the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth of the Republic of Croatia.
